Denis and Florence Ducloux raise goats and make Valençay PDO cheese, the famous raw-milk truncated pyramid that is the pride of the region. During your stay, you can buy the cheese directly from the farm every day between 8am and 5pm.
Not only does this ensure a fresh, high-quality product, it also gives you the chance to meet the producers and learn more about the way they farm and make their products. Cheeses are also available in local shops and at the Maison du fromage in Pouligny-Saint-Pierre.
