The city of Blois has several remarkable gardens. Close to the royal castle, the gardens of the King were originally created by Louis XII, they have taken a contemporary form thanks to the landscape architect Gilles Clément who has redesigned them by mixing flowers, aromatic plants and medicinal plants. They offer a magnificent view of the castle's facades and the Loire River. The Bishopric gardens include a rose garden, a garden for the 5 senses and an aromatic garden.
