Privileged location at the entrance of the castle, this quality tourist restaurant has been able to remain reasonable when talking about price. The freshness and the respect for the seasonal nature of the products are the main credo of the chef/owner Patrick Constant who favours local products like the pullet of Contres. The daily specials, about ten, are then permanently renewed. Thus, from October to December, game dominates the menu with for example the excellent deer back with the wine jam of Chinon… The wine list is largely in line with the dishes on offer and especially the Sologne terroir.
