For more than seventy-five years, Trigano's know-how and sense of innovation have made it the European reference in the field of recreational vehicles and outdoor equipment. Trigano Jardin products have received the Origine France Garantie certification.
History. The history of the Trigano group dates back to 1935 when the Trigano family started marketing textile products. The following year, the French left for the first time on paid holidays and Trigano provided them with their first tent canvases: these were the beginning of camping. In 1945, Raymond Trigano and his sons created the company specializing in the distribution of camping and sports equipment. In 1971, Trigano evolved and diversified with the acquisition of a caravan production activity sold under the Caravelair brand. Three years later, Crédit Lyonnais took control of the company and acquired Sterckeman (caravans). The activity diversified in the 1980s with the creation of a motorhome manufacturing activity as a subcontractor for the Société des usines Chausson, then the launch of the Challenger motorhome brand. The production of Steckerman caravans is then transferred to the Tournon-sur-Rhône factory. Trigano acquired several companies (Amca-Noval, Trio, Chausson, Plisson, I.B.I., Maîtres Equipements) and created new brands (Trois Soleils, Loisirs Finances, ECIM) during the 1990s. The group will continue to expand during the 2000s with new acquisitions and creations. In 2003, the corporate name Amca-Noval became Trigano Jardin.
