AUBERGE LE BEAUHARNAIS
In this village marked by Napoleon and especially by the family of his first wife Josephine, the inn could not have had any other name than Beauharnais. Behind a discreet facade is a small, pleasant room, especially when logs burn in the fireplace. And this pleasure can be found in the dishes where the chef Nicolas Valleye shows all his know-how to highlight the products he prefers local because for him, as for his whole team, Sologne is a passion that must be shared. Nicolas gets his supplies in the Loir-et-Cher for the vast majority of the products he cooks and in the neighbouring departments for what he can't find on the spot. No problem to choose among these homemade dishes because everything is good in the choice, which is certainly limited by proximity and arrivals but varied and creative. Don't miss the dishes that have won national or international awards, such as veal head and strawberry with gribiche sauce or veal sweetbreads with mushrooms. If we add the kindness and warmth of Chantal's welcome, everything invites us to come and enjoy this inn that Josephine would surely have loved.
