CHURCH OF ST. MARTIN
Church with a remarkable architecture, with paintings representing biblical scenes and murals.
This church is part of the Circuit des Églises à Fresques de la Vallée du Loir. The 12th century building has been modified many times over the course of the centuries, with Gothic and Romanesque influences. In addition to its remarkable architecture, it is the paintings and murals of the 14th century that make its interest. In the current sacristy, paintings representing biblical scenes remain. The choir has a painted vault representing the Last Supper where one notices the presence of the devil hidden behind the curtain.
