AUGUSTINIAN CLOISTER
Cloister with half-timbered facade, used to gather houses around a church, hosts exhibitions and concerts.
The religious settled in a district already built in 1427 by the Count of Vendôme, Louis de Bourbon. They reused pre-existing buildings and built a cloister to unite these main buildings around a church. The place cannot be visited (except during exhibitions or concerts) but, during the opening hours of the Maison de l'emploi, which is also located in the cloister, you can discover the ground floor of the building and its garden, a successful example of architectural rehabilitation, half-timbered façade and covered cloister.
