Here's a pretty little restaurant on the square at the foot of Montrichard's keep, with its lovely terrace shaded by lime trees. If the weather's not so kind, you can opt for the interior, where the soul of the house is revealed. The stonework that gave the establishment its name mingles with the centuries-old woodwork, adding to the charm of the place. Like the house itself, the cuisine is traditional and of the highest quality, with traditional favourites such as foie gras and home-smoked salmon. In fine weather, musical entertainment makes dining even more enjoyable.

Un très bon restaurant de cuisine traditionnelle française avec un prix raisonnable. Les serveurs sont sympas et le cocktail nous était offert car nous venions sur les conseils des Pierres d'Aurèle (Chambre d'hôte à proximité).

Restaurant vraiment très bien, personnel sympa et attentionné même quand ils sont surchargés. plat réalisé avec des produits très frais et savoureux. Un petit vin blanc succulent : un Chenonceaux Félicie Blanche.

Very good meal, heavy and quickly served. menu at €27.90 with mushrooms stuffed with snails and veal kidneys in Porto sauce. Cheese and gourmet coffee. good choice of local wines. I will go back to the weather
