CHÂTEAU DES COLLIERS
Castle with comfortable rooms on the left bank of the Loire
Right from the entrance, with its long avenue of century-old lime trees leading to the château, the charm is there. It's hard to resist the charm of this magnificent château overlooking the Loire It was enlarged in the 18th century by the royal architect Jacques Gabriel and embellished by the Chevalier de Béla, King Louis XV's spy. In the same family since 1783, the château has retained all its nobility. Most of the comfortable rooms offer superb views of the river, and are ideal for a relaxing break away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
