Museum to discover the history, the richness and the natural heritage of the Sologne, historical characters are also presented there.
Housed in three former mills, this museum explores the history of Sologne and its capital Romorantin, as well as the lives of its inhabitants. One section is dedicated to an astonishing exhibition, Cérabrique, featuring a rich collection of architectural ceramics. Here you can discover Leonardo da Vinci's work, which could have transformed Romorantin into the capital of the kingdom of France at the request of François I, another local celebrity. Nature and even hunting, so important to Sologne, are not forgotten.
