Having worked at some of the finest restaurants in the Netherlands and the region, including the Château de Vallagon in Bourré, where his cuisine made an indelible impression, Jeroen Steentjes has now settled at the foot of the Château de Saint-Aignan, opposite the Collegiate Church, with his wife Marike. In this magnificently restored stone house, they offer a refined and inventive cuisine with subtle flavors of which Jeroen has the secret, and which he elaborates with carefully selected local products. It's the same care he takes when choosing the wines to be tasted in the vinothèque.
