Picturesque church built in red and black bricks and rubble, interesting for its murals and its altarpiece.
This picturesque 12th century church, built of red and black bricks and rubble, is worth a visit for more than one reason. First, for its famous caquetoir. If you are not familiar with the term, it is the canopy sheltering the entrance of the church, where parishioners liked to meet to indulge in some chatter. It is also interesting for its wall paintings and its 17th century altarpiece as well as for its 18th century lectern. Covered with terracotta tiles, it is one of the most beautiful in the region.
