ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM
Museum housing pottery found in Pouillé and Thésée, with models and a kitchen that takes you back to Gallo-Roman times.
On the second floor of the town hall is a presentation of the site and the pottery unearthed in the neighboring villages of Pouillé and Thésée. The museum is attractive and explanatory: scale models and the reconstruction of a Gallo-Roman kitchen give a better understanding of the life of our ancestors. An exhibition on regional life in Roman times completes the visit. Also worth seeing on the road to Montrichard are the 2nd-century Gallo-Roman remains of the Mazelles site, enhanced by a contemporary art exhibition. Evening tours are available in June and July
