ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM
Museum housing pottery found in Pouillé and Thésée, with models and a kitchen going back to Gallo-Roman times.
In the park of Vaulx-Saint-Georges, on the second floor of the town hall, the archaeological museum presents the pottery found in Pouillé and Thésée and explains the sites in an attractive way. Models and the reconstruction of roofs and a kitchen take us back to the Gallo-Roman era. An exhibition on life in the region at that time completes the visit of the museum. Also to be seen, on the road to Montrichard, the Mazelles monument (a Gallo-Roman vestige from the 2nd century) with a contemporary art exhibition.
