In the heart of the Cosson massif, which is home to one of the most beautiful deer populations in France, the Maison du Cerf is located in a typical Sologne building. You will discover all the secrets of the king of our forests: his birth, his family unit, the fall and evolution of his antlers, his bellowing, etc. You will be immediately in the mood thanks to the sound animations, surrounded by educational panels, slide shows and films that will allow you to learn more about the deer, the largest wild mammal in France. The Maison du Cerf organizes evenings between mid-September and mid-October, including a visit to the museum and an outing to listen to the bellowing of the deer for people over 12 years old. The hoarse calls of the big deer, the noise, the atmosphere between dog and wolf and the experience of the animal kingdom itself make these outings unforgettable.
