SAINT-HILAIRE CHURCH
Visit a church featuring murals, a collection of religious objects and carved stalls.
Dedicated to Saint Hilaire, this church features remarkable wall paintings dating from the first half of the 16th century, rediscovered in 1927. In the sacristy, now transformed into a museum, visit the astonishing collection of religious objects, priestly vestments and orfrois (gold-woven fabric) on 15th-century red velvet. In the nave, remarkable for its paneled ceiling, a monumental St. Christopher and a representation of the Three Dead and the Three Alive are on view, while the choir unveils beautiful sculpted stalls and a 15th-century altar.
