A new season for Périgueux's Nuits Gourmandes. Every Wednesday evening throughout the summer, from 7pm onwards, locals and tourists alike flock to the town center, around the Place du Coderc and Place de la Clautre, to eat from stands or food-trucks selling gourmet products set up in the streets. There are local products, of course, but also products from other regions or countries, such as aligot, Basque, Mexican or Creole specialities. You can try your hand at a meal and listen to the musicians on stage. A very popular event!
