This pretty marina is home to a small fishing port and three square towers, the 15th-century Metimu and the 16th-century Casucciu and Ciocce. It's a popular cove for kayakers, who can rent their craft on site. The village has a rich heritage. In the 19th century, it was a prosperous port, exporting wine, citron, livestock and charcoal, and importing grain, salt, textiles and utensils.
