Through projections, fun activities and exploration of the floors dedicated to local history and truffle culture, visitors can immerse themselves in this universe. Opening time and information on MUSÉE DE LA TRUFFE
Historic monument. Open from April to October. Open daily from 10am to 1pm (last visit at 12pm) and from 2pm to 6:30pm (last visit at 5:30pm). Free for children under 14 (1 adult for 2 children). Adults: €7.50. Group (10 people): €6 (school groups: €3.50/person). High school students/students/disabled persons: €5 (proof required). Audio guide (headphones and MP3 player) available in 11 languages at €3/person. Free for the visually impaired. Cheques not accepted. Gift store. Entertainment.

Located in Sarlat-La-Caneda, the Musée de la Truffe is housed in a listed building, a true 15th-century architectural masterpiece. Here, you'll find a wealth of information about both the town and the truffle. You'll also be treated to a projection retracing the milestones in Sarlat's history. A visit to this address will also enable you to learn more about truffle growing and the evolution of truffles through the seasons. What's more, you can expand your knowledge of the various techniques used to cook black diamonds. To complete the experience, Signori Tartufi invites you on a gustatory journey around truffles. History, quizzes and tastings are on offer. On-site, you'll also find a store selling truffle-based products to enhance your dishes, from aperitif to dessert. The Mussée Guide App is available free of charge on iOS and Android platforms. It lets you discover the different aspects of truffles in a fun, interactive way. An address well worth a visit!
