SPIRULINE PERIGORD
Chris Pressoir has been growing spirulina since 2010, a little-known and uncommon plant in the shape of a spiral measuring a tenth of a millimetre. It was born about three billion years ago and has helped make the planet more breathable by producing oxygen. It is a member of the blue-green algae family. Rich in protein, gammalinolenic acid, iron and vitamin A (beta-carotene), it is a food with health benefits. Through its gammalinolenic acid, it helps the nervous, cardiovascular and immune systems to function properly, as well as the anti-allergic and anti-infectious defences. It also plays an important role in the hydration and suppleness of the skin. Its spirulina sachets are on sale on its website and in organic or specialized stores.
