A former post house of the 18th century houses this charming downtown hotel, in Dordogne stone run by Adrian and Sharon Finch. It is located at the road to Santiago de Compostela, 100 meters from the train station. All rooms, which are all different, are equipped with a bathroom with almost always a bathtub and open, for some, onto the wooded garden with terrace. A bar and a lounge make it possible to enjoy friendly atmosphere. And when you ask the reason of the name of this address in the very heart of Périgord Vert, the mistress of the place explains with her charming English accent that his hotel remains the symbol of the French-Russian alliance celebrated for more than a century. The planning took place in Dordogne where General Obroutcheff had been a major player in this business… That explains it. Meals are available on reservation.
