Every November 11, a very traditional fair is held in the small village of Varaignes, dating back to Henri IV. Among the activities, the main event is the parade of hundreds of turkeys through the streets of the village, crowned capital of the turkey, under the watchful eye of "shepherds" dressed in traditional costumes.
