HOLY-JUST CHURCH
Visit a church to admire its nave and side aisles, typical of Burgundian Romanesque art, and its imposing Marin Carouge organ.
The Saint-Just church is easy to spot thanks to its high, domed steeple clad in ochre-coloured tiles. This 17th-century giant stretches to 60 m and dominates the town. Once at the center of a fortified Benedictine priory, the church served as an impregnable vantage point. Admire the nave and side aisles, typical of 11th- and 12th-century Burgundian Romanesque architecture. The carved wooden pulpit dates back to the 13th century. Other highlights include an imposing 1728 Marin Carouge organ, chapels of various periods and a sublime 14th-century statue of the Virgin and Child
