ART MUSEUM HOTEL SARRET DE GROZON
Very nice provincial museum testifying of a regional art of living and sheltering a beautiful collection of pictorial works.
The place belonged to the Sarret de Grozon family, who bequeathed its heritage to the town of Arbois in the 20th century. It has been transformed into a museum since 1934. It houses a beautiful collection: pictorial works from the 17th to the 19th century, including signed by Gustave Courbet and Auguste Pointelin. The interest lies in the exhibition of objects that belonged to the family: furniture, silverware, porcelain. A very nice provincial museum testifying to a regional art of living.
