Starting in 1988, Gérard Villet was already banking on organic farming. He became the first winegrower in Arbois to choose this approach, following in the footsteps of Pierre Overnoy. This relationship with the environment and the objective of quality have always animated him with accessible prices. Which is far from always being the case! The estate occupies 5.4 hectares in 7 clos: Les Bodines, Petit Genevret, Les Corvées, Les Nouvelles... The Villet's also work in a spirit of conviviality. The wines are certified by Ecocert. All the Jurassian panoply is there as well as the famous yellow wine.

Christine nous raconte les vignes et le travail de toute une famille avec passion et honnêteté. Le vin est à l'image de cette famille. Jamais déçu depuis 20 ans que nous dégustons les vins VILLET.

One of The best vineyards not only in Jura but in the whole France. Attention to the wine making, flexibility and adaptation due to unpredictable climate change. We tried all cuvées and I couldn’t say that even one was unpleasant. Christine is kind, warm and very knowlageble, she explain a process of almost each cuvées and stayed with us for more than 1 hour. Highly recommend to everyone who would like to discover the real Jura wine that respects the terroir and has exceptional taste

Christine Villet prend son temps pour discuter avec ses clients autour de la dégustation des excellents vins du domaine. Nous avons passé un très bon moment.

J'ai découvert la Maison Villet sur recommandation d'un ami vigneron et me suis rendu au Salon du Vin bio en mars 2017, de nouveau en mai pour y acheter de bonnes bouteilles de la production bio de la Maison.
L'accueil est sympathique et chaleureux. Les produits proposés valent qu'on y prenne le temps nécessaire à leur présentation. On appréciera pour débuter le macvin, puis le savagnin (ouillé), le vin jaune, les poulsard et trousseau. Et pour finir, la veille fine.
