LA ROUGET DE LISLE
This is Franche-Comté's must-try brewery. La Rouget offers 16 beers and spirits made from local cereals.
A wall of barrels at the brewery entrance hints at the scale of this brewery, founded in 1994 by Bruno Mangin. Always at his post behind his imposing beard, the brewer has succeeded in developing a range that appeals to amateurs and non-enthusiasts alike. And even others, with colas, lemonades and iced teas. In a store where you can find the best prices for these products, you'll find the whole range, and even the most original ones: raspberry sour, barrel-aged beer. Barrels are also used for the whisky, vodka, gin and genepi produced here.
