GALERIE DES PERTES DE L'AIN
On the way back from a stroll towards the Pertes de l'Ain, let yourself be won over by the cluster of ceramic characters standing guard in front of a house in the heart of this village. Here is an astonishing art gallery where Régina Lemoigne, a discreet Dutch woman but a true alchemist of ceramics, has come to exercise her passion since 1980. She opens her gallery for a permanent exhibition of her creations, which she accompanies with those of other artists. In particular, ceramists who are passionate, like her, about techniques that bring terracotta to life. Admission is free and a short walk is recommended in the garden, where curious but touching sculptures are on display, which do not leave you indifferent. Regina also works with glass, metals, concrete... she likes to combine materials to give them a new identity. Member of Sculpture Network, she participates in numerous exhibitions, biennials,... in Franche-Comté but also throughout Europe.
