VILLA MAGLYA
Museum presenting the pre-industrial and artistic heritage of the region through permanent and temporary exhibitions
Villa Maglya is a museum of technology and a gallery of arts and crafts. In this sense, we invite you to discover the pre-industrial and artistic heritage (glass blower, bronze sculptor, embroidery, etc.) of the region through permanent and temporary exhibitions of various collections. Villa Maglya still houses an aluminium and photography museum with more than 700 exhibits, including a space dedicated to the Langonnais Louis Ducos of Hauron; no more and no less than the inventor of colour photography in Agen. And above all, a whole bunch of souvenirs, archives and copies of the production of old canvases made in the Beautiran cotton printing factory at the end of the 18th century. Not to mention the conferences that can be held there. On site: a museum shop, local products, tea room and flea market.
