MOULIN DES OYES
Originally from Switzerland, Jocelyne Schaller-Lachat has exercised her artistic expression in various countries, but it is in the French Jura that she has settled. This ceramist, trained at the Swiss Applied Arts in Vevey, is based on a quarter of a century of experience. Her favourite terrain is called white and red earthenware, which she decorates by hand. Decorative or more utilitarian pieces whose common points are song and language so much they express the artist's inner feelings. Jocelyne meets at various craft markets as well as some Christmas markets in the East. But her studio is open to the public and she teaches pottery courses for adults and children alike. Potential potters who may become the next generation.
