Museum-school that will bring back memories to some in Château-Chalon.

Like many, the school has closed. But the municipality and the Friends of Château-Chalon are reviving it as a school-museum, with the teacher's platform, the sloping desks, the blackboard on an easel, and even the donkey's cap... Memories of the 1930's are awakened here, of "lessons of things" and other apprenticeships... The schoolchildren's clogs are drying under the stove from the Baudin forges, as the Jura is obliged to do. A return that will bring back memories for some and surprise others. Sometimes, you can even take part in a dictation with a pen, with full and untied words!

Visite a faire absolument si vous passez dans ce village. La dame est une passionnée d'une extrême gentillesse. Il faut transmettre la mémoire aux générations futures. Merci pour ce moment.
