Park created in 1970 in Belin-Béliet, with ecological gîtes for healthy vacations close to nature.
The Landes de Gascogne Regional Nature Park covers fifty-one communes on either side of the Leyre, Haute Lande and Arcachon Basin valleys. It's a privileged area for hiking enthusiasts: walking and horse-riding on marked forest paths, cycling and mountain-biking itineraries, canoeing down the Leyre river, discovering the Bassin in a sea kayak... And let's not forget our heritage sites!

C'est un très beau parc naturel où l'on peut faire des grandes promenades à pied et à vélo sur les routes forestières . L' environnement est préservé et nous a beaucoup plu .
Our guest of our Chambres d'hôtes (Les Vieux Chênes with Mano) recommended to visit the Park before sampling the Landes region. Which good idea. The site of Marquèze allows you to have a better cultural approach, social life of Old and their trades... before sampling by yourself this rich region... For
Marquèze: Train will, the visit is very instructive, pleasant setting, you will discover the Landes such as they were at the beginning of the century. Each house has its own theme, and nothing is missing. An inescapable address to visit the Landes region.
