Large regional nature park straddling the Landes and Gironde, close to the Leyre Valley and the Arcachon basin.
Classified as a regional nature park in 1970, this vast reserve of preserved nature covers more than 336,000 hectares in the heart of the Landes pine forest, and brings together 51 communes in the Gironde and Landes departments. There are so many things to see and do there! Visit the ecomuseum of Marquèze, go canoeing or kayaking along the Leyre river, observe the migrations from the bird sanctuary of Le Teich or discover the 21 works of art in the contemporary art forest...
