POTERIE DE LA "DAM ' MARTIN"

It is in memory of the former owner nicknamed "Dam'Martin", that Didier Ribault named his pottery workshop after him. Located in the village centre, the latter is located on the edge of the Haute-Saône, very close to Pesmes and its charming river Ognon. The creative craftsman has been working there for 20 years after training as a modeler, a few years with colleagues from the South and studies at the Longchamp ceramic school. A curriculum that requires respect, both for its production of common culinary materials (e. g. crockery) and for its more decorative objects. It is in these that the artist's dimension takes on its full meaning with the aim of always renewing itself. Each piece is baked in 2 stages in the oven, at 980°C and then at 1,280°C. Corinne's wife, who also runs the Dole exhibition and sale (with 6 other craftsmen), was also won over by working the land. If the Ribault workshop has recently been enriched with an exhibition gallery, Didier participates in all the regional pottery markets.
