MARION HAWECKER

Marion Hawecker is a feather artist based in Dole. Her work straddles the border between different artistic approaches and craft practices. She explores the world through materials, collaborating on landscape and architectural installations, set design and costume projects, as well as commissions for high-end ready-to-wear and haute couture. At the same time, she develops her own artistic production in the form of sculptures, jewelry and small objects. Her work questions our relationship with the living and with nature, whether from an elemental, mineral, animal or plant point of view. Marion Hawecker observes her relationship with these elements and attempts to weave links between these worlds through imitation, mimicry, analogies of form and silent evocation.
