THE MOOR GARDEN
This garden, arboretum and kitchen garden in Dole is organized into several areas and is home to some 1,200 species of plants and trees.
Gisèle Besana is passionate and knows how to share her passion. "A la Faulx" is the name of the place where she created, in 1983, this garden which covers 8,300 ha and has received several distinctions: Remarkable Garden, but also "Gardens and Health". Flowered paths and meadows, garden of the 4 seasons, arboretum and vegetable garden... This extraordinary garden is organized in several spaces, "in the English style", and shelters, in all, some 1 200 species. It is a must-see in the spring for its rosebushes and perennials; in the fall, it is the trees and shrubs that bring it to life with their multicolored and flamboyant foliage.
