The Ligne des Hirondelles is a picturesque railroad line linking Dole to Saint-Claude, in the Jura department. The line offers spectacular views of the Jura mountains, passing through characterful tunnels, bridges and viaducts. The journey takes around two and a half hours, and passengers can choose to travel first or second class.
