MINE PATH
This easy but 14,2 km long circuit leads you to the steps of the mining workers, many of the Franche-Comté, in the mid th century, the great era of the Fraisans Forges Society. It extracts iron ore into the Forêt forest, where the route passes. You discover a "patouillet" where the ore was washed, the blast furnace where it was melted, the old railroad path that acheminait it towards the forges. Those of Rans made the cast, then those of Fraisans made it into rails, in chains of the sea, in bridges, in elements of metallic works, such as the glass glass of the Gare de Lyon… A walk where, in addition to spending (a little bit), you will learn lots of things!
