Hidden away in the forested mountains of La Chaux-du-Dombief, the belvedere offers a breathtaking view of the 4 lakes: Ilay, Narlay, Petit Maclu and Grand Maclu. The lookout can be reached on foot (Pic de l'aigle) or by car from the village of La Chaux-du-Dombief. A parking lot is located just 5 minutes' walk from the viewpoint, and access is easy. Below, a circuit around the 4 lakes (11 km) offers a day's stroll through the flora and fauna of these unspoilt natural sites.
