Restaurant with terrace to enjoy Breton pancakes and galettes in Blaye.

At the entrance to the citadel, impossible to miss The Bastion. The establishment has been open since 1985. Take the time to sit on the terrace or indoors to enjoy pancakes, Breton patties (more than 30 choice) or ice cream. This warm place is rather specialized in desserts but also offers an interesting choice of starters and meat and fish dishes. Enjoy a curiosity in the inner, rustic room with beautiful beams and stone walls. And above all, a majestic lemonaire (kind of barbarism organ) sitting on a former carousel, which will play melodies if you politely ask the boss.

Très bon accueil , des crêpes délicieuses. Pour le premier week-end de reprise apre la pandémie tout le personnel a assuré. Bonne saison estivale à toute l'équipe.

Accueil désagréable, après au moins 20mn d'attente debout, avec interdiction de s'assoir à une table vide (il y en avait plusieurs), nous sommes partis.

Personnel très désagréable faisant attendre volontairement les clients (entendu entre deux serveurs au sujet de la table à côté de la notre, "tu n'oublieras pas de les faire attendre"). Service très long, prix extrêmement cher au vu de la qualité de la nourriture. On ne paie que le cadre.
Dans les avis précédent, la personne faisant l'éloge de ce restaurant fait sûrement partie de l'établissement... aucun client sensé ne tiendrait ce discours.

You want to drink 1 drink, enjoy crepes or 1 dish sit AT the bastion. varied menu (salads, pancakes, pancakes, duck steak) quality and impeccable freshness, for the pleasure of the eyes and the palate. 1 large memory of a pancake to apples and salted butter caramel ..... homemade desserts, enjoy slowly for the pleasure... the welcome is friendly. , attentive, chaleureuxvoir teaser sometimes. Terrace or indoor room with fine rustic décor. Very good value for money. simply and sincerely our favourite place of Blaye.
