Formerly the home of the Duke of Saint-Simon, the château is a magnificent 17th century building bordering the estuary. The 25-hectare vineyard alone accounts for half of the Blaye AOC! Adjacent to the Blaye citadel, the castle offers many activities for the whole family: visit of the cellars with tasting, visit of the vineyards and the underground passages, ride in a small train or in a horse-drawn carriage, winegrower's lunch...
