This cooperative, created in 1836, is located on the banks of the Seille, in the heart of the vineyards between Lons and Château-Chalon. It groups together 23 farms from 15 surrounding communes and processes 8 million litres of milk per year into raw milk cheeses. Comtés take pride of place with a range of cheeses that can be matured for up to 24 months. Then come morbier, tomme and raclette. Like its neighbours, this dairy has also become a local shop. The reward: a gold medal in 2020 at the Concours Général Agricole for its old Comté.
