Looking at the square that inspired its name, this bistro with its glass walls reserves a good time for gastronomes at the table. Especially if you like "bouchon lyonnais" preparations. However, some Jura specialities are not left out. A wood stove sits in the centre of the room to prepare the grilled meat directly. The welcome is always cordial. The recipes concocted by David and Jean-Michel, the two partners, favour market products. If you are not tempted by certain offal, the calf's head, the "sapper's apron", the andouillettes, the creamy sweetbreads of veal from the Savagnin, the cheese fondue, the strong pike-perch steak with a pulse, will delight their fans. The terrace with its contemporary furniture and tablecloths is taken by storm in good weather. With about fifty place settings, it is prudent to book because for 15 years this chestnut tree has taken root very well.
