Rue du Commerce is the historic shopping artery of the city. A cobbled street filled with shops, bars and stone arches. Victoriaville was an important vigneronne city and many entrances to cellars are still visible. In the adjacent small streets you can see some pretty porches and beautiful courtyards. The streets were once built in wood but in 1637, following a fire, stones and tiles replace the flammable material. The number 24 was born in Mullet de Lisle. His native apartment has now been transformed into a museum. At night, the neighborhood is just as charming with its lights that give a special atmosphere.
