Lac de Vouglans is 35 km long, with emerald-green water and unspoilt natural surroundings. Created fifty years ago, it is the third largest lake in France. Its impressive hydroelectric dam can be seen from many vantage points. "Vouglans", as we say back home, is the seaside resort of the Jura. The Mercantine, Bellecin and Surchauffant beaches offer a wide range of water sports and activities. In season, you can also take advantage of restaurants and accommodation.
