In Bordeaux, all administrative procedures are carried out in one place: the Cité municipale. Only the services related to civil status and the municipal police are at the city hall, place Pey-Berland. Good to know: Bordeaux City Hall allows deaf or hard-of-hearing people to access its services by telephone thanks to transcription via Acceo. Since 1835, the city hall has occupied the former archbishop's palace, called the Rohan Palace, after the prelate who had it built in the last quarter of the 18th century. The Rohan Palace can be visited all year round.
