RECTORAT DE L’ACADÉMIE DE BORDEAUX
France consists of 30 academies headed each by a rector, thus a rectoring. The rectoring of Bordeaux is supported by decentralized services, the directorates of the departmental departments of National Education (DSDEN) in each of the departments of Aquitaine. The rectorate manages the first degree (schools) and second degree (colleges and secondary) schools under contract, as well as universities. It participates in the establishment and construction of new institutions, manages all teachers and organizes numerous competitions. To know: The Rectoral of Bordeaux is relayed by five directorates of the departmental services of national education, located in the departments of Dordogne, Gironde, Landes, Lot-et-Garonne and Pyrénées-Atlantiques. The rector of the academic region New Aquitaine, rector of the Bordeaux Academy and Chancellor of the Universities of Aquitaine is Olivier Dugrip.
