The Etablissement Français du Sang welcomes blood, plasma and platelet donors throughout the year. Group O universal donors are particularly sought after, as their blood can be transfused to a very large number of people. Plasma donations are used to treat burn victims and to prepare medications for hemophiliacs. Platelet donations are used to treat haemorrhages in patients. The EFS organizes events and mobile collections.

That does not take time. There is a parking for the donors and staff is very pleasant.
