MESNAY ECOMUSEUM
A museum located in Mesnay which shows the know-how of the industries thanks to the hydraulic power of the Cuisance.
This place was home to an 18th century paper mill, bought by Jean-Baptiste Hétier in 1888. Like all mills, it was part of the eponymous company, specialized in cardboard. Closed in 2001, a museum was created to show the knowledge of the industries thanks to the hydraulic power of the Cuisance: millers, oil-makers, blacksmiths, tailors... The building also houses the Maison de l'Abeille (Bee House) which presents the history of the insect and has an automated panoramic beehive, unique in France! The shop also offers honey products.
