SAINT GERMAIN CHURCH
This church houses Burgundian statues from the 15th and 16th centuries
Mièges church has a rich history. In the Middle Ages, it was home to a large priory. The first thing you see is the recent 20th-century part: a square bell tower whose corners are adorned with 4 statues of saints. The rest dates back to the 15th and 16th centuries. The sculptures on the portal evoke the main activities of the time (grape-pickers, lumberjacks, etc.). The Val de Mièges association offers guided tours and events in high season. A fun way to raise funds to help preserve our heritage.
