The route de la Corniche is a narrow and picturesque road that runs along the Dordogne River until the Gironde estuary is formed. Along the way, you will discover beautiful flower gardens as well as 19th century troglodytic dwellings (some of which are still inhabited) nestled in the heart of the limestone cliffs, and of course, the surprising carrelets, these curious fishermen's installations perched above the water. This walk is punctuated by the Windows on the Estuary, playful landscaping to learn more.
