ATELIER CÉRAMIQUE LA BISE NOIRE
After Alsace and Sarthe, Cristine Bath and David Jodon settled in the Jura. They fell under the spell of the region and even more so of their beautiful stone house. The "La Bise Noire" workshop was born. Here no traditional pottery, they like to give free rein to their imaginations and direct their work towards the unusual, the rarely seen. The material is worked by hand and not by lathe. Cristine, an enamelled porcelain ceramist, likes to be inspired by nature to compose her works. Several times awarded: favorite of the Council of Interior Architects at the exhibition Résonance(s) in Alsace, 1st prize awarded by the Chamber of Trade of the Sarthe. As for David, a sculptor, he likes to play with defects and small accidents in shapes. Influenced by the Japanese and Korean spirit, his creations are practical and artistic. Anyone, young or old, can register for the ceramic courses offered.
